Rae Marie Essentials is so proud to be a part of an ethically sourced product such as our fair trade unrefined Shea Butter. Our Shea butter is ethically produced by Jilima Co-op in Northern Ghana. It's a delight to be a part of what makes a difference to help women earn better. This is a proud moment for us. Our Shea is grown wild in Ghana and is obtained from the edible nut of the Karité tree without the use of chemicals.

Unrefined Shea is a treat and treasure to have as part of your skincare regimen. This butter is known for its versatility and has been used in Africa for many years to help combat the effects of the sun and aging. NOTE: There are no known allergic reactions to pure unrefined shea butter related to those with latex intolerance. The shea tree produces latex sap which is not the same as a rubber tree. However, we recommend a patch test
