I would like to introduce you to my Peppermint-Rose, Slippery Elm Marshmallow Root Herbal Shampoo Bars. It has a nice lather and cleans well. As you rinse, it leaves your hair soft and light. The shampoo bar will soften your hair because of the herbal content of slippery elm, rose petals, and marshmallow root and peppermint. It's also enriched with Amla oil, Mango butter, and Castor oil. I love the way it felt as I used it.
I noticed if you already have oils in your hair, to do a second wash because this soap has moisturizing properties and no harsh sulfates. This soap is 98% natural. It has mild suds and has a cooling effect on my scalp as I continuing to massage the scalp, and l had such a detangled effect on my hair (hair type 3b-3c) [3.50-ounce bar]
To make sure you get rid of hair buildup from using products over time, use a teaspoon of baking soda with the shampoo bar, it may create more bubbles too!
NOTE: Shampoo Bars generally don’t do well in hard water, so if you have hard water, you’ll definitely want to use baking soda. In using hard water, I read it has metal ions, and this will leave on your hair feeling dull and dry if you do not do this step. I find that if you Google hard water maps for your area you can see what kind of water that you have.
NOTE: Baking Soda, is a natural water softener with a pH of 8.5-9. If you don't want to use Baking Soda use a natural herbal hair rinse using herbs your hair loves after shampooing. Example, make a tea with 2 tsp each Marshmallow root, lavender, peppermint etc. in 1 cup of hot water.
EXPERIMENT: I have a done an experiment with baking soda adding to my shampoo bar and the pH came down to a 7 (as 7 being neutral), so your hair will remain the proper pH in using this shampoo bar to avoid dryness and breakage. Afterward, adding my Moisturizing Avocado Conditioner (pH 5) to bring my hair down to having refined cuticles. I rinsed after a 20 min waiting time. For light conditioning, you can use the Avocado Leave-in. Then, adding in the Natural Hair Ceramide Oil to nourish my hair and keeping the moisture. Finally, using my Everyday Hair Milk to style my hair in the twist out look. I love the results!

DIRECTION USING SHAMPOO BAR: Saturate your hair completely under running water. Rub the bar in circular motions all over the scalp area. Massage scalp as the soap will lather, and if you like, run fingers through the hair, and rub the bar gently on the hair washing the strands of the hair. Massage thoroughly and rinse. Repeating if needed. This may be a factor if not use to using shampoo bars. Follow through using any of RaeMarie's Essentials conditioners and hair moisturizing products to achieve even more soft locs. Style as usual.

UPDATE 1/12/17: I have received wonderful positive (it worked well) and negative ( it didn't work on the hair) feedback on this particular shampoo bar, but the negative are not a downfall for me because not all what you make will work for all people, so I go back and do it again for the ones that may need more than others, so on that note I will research out other ingredients to make shampoo bars to target thicker, coarse hair. I do have a Shampoo Bar for thick hair, but you all will have to ask for a sample before buying. I don't mind if you contact me about sampling. I personally suggest the Avocado Spinach Bars for thicker hair types.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
